Our values are at the core of everything we do. We believe in compassion, empathy, and the power of community. We are committed to treating every individual we serve with dignity and respect, and to working together to create a better world.
Since our founding in 2020, Somali Parents of Minnesota has had a significant impact on our community. We have provided food, shelter, and other basic necessities to thousands of individuals in need, and we have helped countless others gain the skills and resources they need to improve their lives.
Our mission is to create equitable workforce opportunities for immigrants and low-income communities by providing culturally responsive training, career readiness programs, and wraparound support services. We are dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers, fostering economic mobility, and preparing individuals for family-sustaining careers in high-demand industries. Through partnerships and community-driven solutions, we aim to strengthen families and build inclusive, resilient communities.
We offer a variety of programs designed to meet the needs of Somali families, including educational workshops, cultural events, and parenting support groups. Our programs are tailored to help families thrive in their new environment.
